Recipe: Chocolate Muffins


100 g butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
100 g dark chocolate
10 cl fruit beer
1/2 cup chopped dried cherries

For the Icing:
50 g butter
3 tablespoons beer
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
3 cups icing sugar

Whisk the eggs and sugar
Add flour, baking powder and vanilla sugar
Melt the butter, pour into the mix
Melt the chocolate & beer, add this also
Pour into 12 muffin cases
Bake at 200 C for approx. 18 minutes
Once cooled down, add the icing and some finely chopped chocolate
